There are typically 2 kind of freelancers on the prowl:
a) off-duty bargirls that look for some extra cash and
b) part time amateurs looking for pocket money.
The bargirls will usually hang out at spots frequented by foreigners
like the "Matrix", "Nighttrain" and "Fillingstation"
on Burgos street while the part timers will stroll around malls like
Glorietta in the Ayala Center. The bargirls will approach you directly
(i.e.: "Sir, you want company?"), while the normal girls
in the malls are kind of shy. Stroll around the mall and find a place
to rest. While observing the people walking by you will notice that
some girls will make eye contact or even flirt with you. You can either
aproach them or wait at a frequented spot and see if girls will come
close to your place and act like they are waiting for somebody or
starting to send messages with their cellphone. They are shy to talk
to a foreigner but are happy to do so if you start a conversation
with them (i.e.: "Hi, are you waiting for your boyfriend?").
It takes a bit common sense to figure out if the girl is game or not.
Sometimes it is not easy to figure out, but if you have some talent
in flirting you will find a lot of girls that are willing to spend
