On Bautista, Dian and Edison (streets in the western part of Makati close to Buendia/Gil Puyat) you find so called Casas. These houses contain 20 to 50 girls of different shapes and sizes that are available for takeout (sex in your house or hotel room), they have no rooms on premises. Casas operate in a very discrete fashion, so you will have no chance to find them on your own. Local guides, touts or taxi drivers will be able to introduce you to the establishments. Just tell them you are looking for casas with girls and they will know where to go.
As of April 2004 there are 4 casas located along Bautista. Locations change constantly after raids. From the outside of the house there is absolutely no indication what you will find inside. No red light, no neon sign, not even a name tag on the bell. Actually these places look deserted like vacant garages or uninhabited residential homes.
Once you find the place you will be greeted by a papasan (pimp) who will lead you into a big living room with sofas. The girls will sit or stand and you can make your choice. It is pretty much like a fishbowl at a massage parlour, but you are right in the middle of the aquarium rather then peeping thru a window from the outside. The price for taking a girl out overnight is 2000 Piso plus a commission for your cabbie that will push it to a total of 3000 Piso. The cabbie is willing to give up half of his commission instantly if you start negotiating reducing the price to 2500 Piso (the cabbie will propse to the pimp: "why don't you give him a discount?"). Getting lower prices is very difficult but not impossible. Asians are more likely to settle for lower costs than Westerners. If you come there with friends and take out 3 or 4 girls or more you will get a bargain.
The quality of girls is on a wide variety. Some girls are young and very new to the business while many look a bit used. The younger ladies seem to be working there while they wait for processing of their papers enabling their work in Japanese and Korean nightclubs. The commercial sex trade seems to work without borders .... As most of the girls stay at a dormitory adjacent to the casa these brothels are also called "boarding houses".
The overnight price entitles you to have the girl stay with you until 8 or 9 am the next morning, but it is best to clarify the term "all night" while negotiating to avoid problems later on. If you barfine the girl late you might want to negotiate noon next day as the cut off time.
As these casas are frequented by Filipinos and Asians, only, you should make clear what kind of service (i.e. bbbj, multiple sex acts) and extras (i.e. anal, group sex, roleplay, kinky stuff, etc.) you expect. An American or European might expect different attitude and performance in terms of service as a Filipino or Chinese. The papasans will usually offer you a replacement or a refund if your expectations are not met, but there have been no known reports about possible disagreements.
